Thank you for your interest in the Humanity in Motion Gala benefiting the Rotary Foundation District 5810 of Rotary International. Rotary International is a world-wide volunteer service organization consisting of 1.2 million members and 33,000 clubs working under the motto “Service Above Self”. Rotary District 5810, part of Rotary International, is composed of 69 clubs in eight counties serving Dallas and the surrounding area. Rotarians have multiple on-going and new projects that benefit the citizens of the metroplex and people around the world. This event on February 18, 2012 marks our effort to raise millions in matching funds for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation gift of $355 ,000,000 to finally eradicate Polio from our world. In addition, the monies are used for scholarships, educational, /vocational services, health/ humanity projects, disaster relief et. al. Our guest speaker is a nationally known educator, researcher and advocate for the deaf and reading/literacy. Jean Irwin Hatfield uses her great gift of humor as she emphasizes the impact Rotary has made on her as an Ambassadorial scholar and professional teacher. She illistrates what donations to the Rotary Foundation can accomplish and honors us by her participation at the gala. We are expecting over five- hundred people for dinner / silent and live auctions/ dancing. Please join us for a memorable evening at the Hilton Anatole Hotel/Dallas.
All proceeds benefit the Rotary Foundation.

Appreciatively

Rotary District 5810 Foundation Chair
